英文摘要:In recent years, the management of AVIC Chengdu Aircraft Industry (Group) Corporation Ltd.(CAC) is facing increasing pressure due to rapid development and multi-line production tasks in hand. How to motivate the enthusiasm and stimulate the morale of all employees challenges the managers. Therefore, CAC creatively launched the "Star of the Week" incentive measure. Through establishing image and broad publicity, this measure has effectively stimulated the enthusiasm and improved the spirit of all employees. Based on the introduction of CAC’s development, this case describes the measure and experience of the “Star of the Week” and emphasizes whether an employee should be given the incentive of "Star of the Week", describing the management art of granting an honor and CAC managers’ understanding of rewards’ nature and purposes.
